As a socially responsible company and knowing our voice can inform, train and create awareness, TravelTalkMEDIA has committed it’s resources, including talent, time, and funding to help resolve this horrific crime and to create awareness of sex trafficking of children by utilizing our voice as a professional resource in the travel and tourism industry.

- TravelTalkMEDIA and all its programming condemn any form of commercial sexual exploitation of children. TravelTalkMEDIA and all its’ programming supports every child’s right to a safe and secure childhood, and is committed to the principle that everyone has the right to grow up and develop without fear of exploitation or harm.

- TravelTalkMEDIA condemns the sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism and will continue to staff and partners to ensure that they know what to do if they suspect such exploitation in the course of their work..

Becoming a Driving Force
TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder have been a driving force to educate the travel industry by co-developing training for non profit organizations like Airline Ambassadors International and educational institutions like International Tour Management Institute and the Prosecuting Attorneys’ office for the state of Michigan and many airports around the US and abroad. TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter are committed to combating commercial sexual exploitation of children by being a voice for children and an educational tool for those who wish to help end horrific crimes again children. We continue to ask our business partners to do the same.

Corporate Policy against Child Trafficking
Policy on Protection of the Rights of Children:
Child Sexual Exploitation TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter condemn all forms of sexual exploitation of children. TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter supports every child’s right to a safe and secure childhood, and is committed to the principle that everyone has the right to grow up and develop without fear of exploitation or harm.

The protection of children from sexual exploitation is a moral imperative that should be adopted by all travel companies and owners, employees and extending teams. TravelTalkMEDIA have already and continue to activate socially responsible policies and practices that reflect this principle.

TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter will strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the prevention of the commercial sexual exploitation of children and will cooperate with law enforcement authorities to address any such instances of exploitation of which TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter or its employees have become a party to.

No TravelTalkMEDIA employee may:
• Use or allow the use of any of TravelTalkMEDIA facilities, resources or equipment (including TravelTalkMEDIA computers and networks) for the viewing, storage, distribution, promotion or other use of materials in which children are depicted as engaging in any sexual act or are otherwise made an object for prurient interests;

• Enter into, on behalf of TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter, or otherwise, any business relationships or any other arrangement with any organization which the employee has reason to believe participates in any way in the sexual exploitation of children; or

• Use or allow the use of images or concepts that sexually exploit children.

All employees, interns and volunteers must be vigilant and immediately report to Sandy Dhuyvetter, as appropriate, all situations that come to their attention where exploitation of children is suspected or appears to be intended. We continue to ask our clients and other suppliers to join us in this important campaign.

Under no circumstances may TravelTalkMEDIA funds, property (including electronic devices and the TravelTalkMEDIA supported technology) or personnel be used to further or support activities that exploit children.

Child Labor Exploitation

TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter does not recruit child labor, and supports the elimination of exploitative child labor. TravelTalkMEDIA and its founder Sandy Dhuyvetter will cooperate with law enforcement authorities to address any such instances of exploitation of which the Company becomes aware. TravelTalkMEDIA and Sandy Dhuyvetter continue to support and build relationships with multiple organizations and non profit groups who work towards ending exploitation of children.

Definitions:

Human Trafficking: The recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person, through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of exploitation.*

Labor Trafficking: The recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services, through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purpose of subjection to involuntary servitude, peonage, debt bondage, or slavery.*

Sex Trafficking: The recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person, through the use of force, fraud, or coercion [or by a person who has not attained 18 years of age] for the purpose of a commercial sex act.*

Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children: Sexual abuse where remuneration in cash or kind is made to the child or a third person(s). This includes through prostitution, pornography, sex tourism, and other forms of human trafficking.

*As defined by Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000
