The Concept

Our goal is to introduce your destination and/or your business to travel agents, tour operators and to the media in significant secondary U.S. outbound markets.

  • The inaugural calendar will focus on visiting 38 cities in November, December and January, all located in the Western States. The secret to our successful launch is targeting smaller and highly lucrative cities to ensure senior level participation.
    Similar events in major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco or New York will always compete with other "more important" events.  
    Agents in major cities are regularly invited to countless road shows, but for agents in smaller and secondary cities, our Mini Road Shows are a unique opportunity to attract highly lucrative markets. A win-win for everyone!  
     
  • Our strategy is to combine and introduce a number of non-competing destinations and travel products at each event.
    Each participant will attract a different type of client, which will subsequently double the visibility for everyone. Our research also shows the media in the secondary cities will give more attention to events wherein they can learn about new destinations and get the latest buzz on traditional markets.

     
  • Flexibility of the program makes decision-making easy.
    Choose one or more cities on the tour. The option is yours, however, we limit the number of destinations we can represent per event.

     
  • All participating companies will be given visibility in the eTurboNews and TravelTalkMEDIA newsletters during the length of the campaign.

Do You Need to Attend?  

You are always invited to attend in person, but if not . . .

  • We will introduce you and your company to attending audiences and engage in one-on-one discussions.
     
  • We will include your information when talking to the local media during our press conference.
     
  • You may produce printed company information or press releases to be given to journalists and agents. 
     
  • We will collect and share business contacts, including names, addresses, e-mails, phone numbers and specific requests.
     
  • We would be happy to produce a conference video, PPT, or audio/slideshow to introduce you to the audiences. Even if you attend in person, we can offer this service.

The Cost

  • US $450.00 for each city your company chooses from our list!

We Provide

  • Venue, including snacks and soft drinks.
  • Invitation delivered to the travel industry professionals, including phone follow-up.
  • Invitation delivered to relevant local and regional media, including phone follow-up.
  • Promotion using the eTurboNews network and TravelTalkMEDIA distribution.
  • Qualified host representing you at the event.
  • Communication with your marketing team prior to learn about your objectives.
  • Handing out your material (CD/brochures).
  • Contact information after the event.

You Provide

  • Shipping of material to destination.
  • Any travel cost and accommodation if you want to attend in person.
  • Cost for video production and remote participation by video conference.
  • Marketing material or hand-outs.

Sign up and Terms and Conditions

  • 50% deposit at registration.
  • Final payment once the event is confirmed, usually within 3 weeks after registration.
  • Deposit is fully refundable if an event cannot be confirmed within 2 months of reservation.
