One of the few legislative bills that the highly partisan lawmakers in Washington seem to be able to agree on, Roger explains why this new law will help to “level the playing field” in attracting international travelers to the US.

Named one of AdAge's 25 media people to follow on Twitter.  This self-described “evangelistic skeptic” explains why social media is currently “like TV in 1950” and that it is far from being too late to jump on the bandwagon. Social media is growing quickly in the travel industry and Twitchhiker, the fellow who literally tweeted himself on a trip around the world, recently won a Shorty Award. Yes, there are even award ceremonies in the social media industry. Heck, even Peace has a Facebook page!

Back in the late 60’s, Bill Raney and his wife were a couple of easy going beatniks. As truly free spirited folks, they decided to fly to Germany, buy a brand new VW camper, and head east on the road to India with their 3 year old son, Zerky, in tow. Along the way, Bill kept a journal in the form of letters written to his son to describe what the family was seeing and experiencing on this epic journey. Long stored away and nearly forgotten, Bill’s journal has now become a great book appropriately and lovingly called Letters to Zerky.
