Magic Carpet in Marrakech Robin Swados, Travel Journalist
We met Robin on the way to Marrakech to attend the Moroccan Travel Market and immediately knew we had found not only a great traveling companion but a good friend as well. Robin chats with us about a fantastic luxury tented retreat called Couleurs Berbers in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. And it was with Robin that we witnessed one of the most memorable bargaining sessions in all our world travels. It happened one night in the ancient marketplace of Marrakech as our new friend tried to buy a finely woven wool rug from a local trader.
