The Snows of Mongolia (in September)

Sylvia Frommer-Mracky, Owner-Manager of Production Travel and Tours Companies and
Editor of The Africa Times

Our long time friend and colleague recounts her recent tour of some unique places northern China and Mongolia that Westerners typically don’t visit. She’ll tell us about a town that appears to be extremely affluent, cigarettes and sniffles, the first snowfall of autumn, and much more. Continued

Day 58 of Orlando’s 67 Days of Smiles promotion. Our ambassadors will give us an update on their marathon visit to 100 of Orlando’s top attractions. Whew! They keep pinching themselves, saying, “And we get PAID for doing this!” Continued

The Dry Arc of Panama

Greg Baxter, our SuperClubs and Breezes Resorts Guru

The white sands of Panama’s Pacific Coast

Think all of Panama must be pretty muggy? The Santa Clara region of the Pacific Coast of Panama has a comfortably dry climate for most of the year, yet lush, tropical vegetation abounds. It’s called Panama’s “Dry Arc.” And there, on a gorgeous white sand beach, is where SuperClubs has just opened its newest all-inclusive Breezes. It’s often called “an adventurer’s dream come true,” and then again, the Miraflores Spa looks pretty nice, too! This resort is a built-from-scratch beauty. Continued

US-Africa Summit, Summarized

Stephen Hayes, President and CEO of The Corporate Council on Africa

We get the lowdown on and takeaways from the recent Biannual US-Africa Business Summit in Washington, DC from the man who truly knows. There were nearly 1700 attendees and delegates from around the globe who took part in 90+ educational breakout sessions. Hillary Clinton spoke there, once again expressing the strong commitment of the US to investment in Africa. And then, there was the networking, too! Continued

This week Stephen Hayes,

US - Africa Business

Hollywood Loves Jordan!

Mona Naffa, Founder and Director of Society of Tourism International - Middle East (STI-ME.com)

So who can forget that scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when our hero, chased though the desert by villains, races through a narrow canyon on horseback to find a spectacularly unbelievable sight facing him at the very end: The Treasury Building. To be honest, we thought it was Hollywood CGI when we first saw it. But this is the entrance to Petra, sometimes called the Eighth Wonder of the World, and recognized as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. But wait, that’s just for starters. You really must see where Lawrence of Arabia and Mission to Mars were filmed in Wadi Rum! Continued

Have a great week and remember, please keep those seat belts on, they do save lives.

Warm regards,

Sandy Dhuyvetter
Executive Producer and Host
