Welcome to this week's TravelTalkMEDIA Newsletter -
We are off to South Korea this week to attend the World Tourism and Investment Summit in Busan. We will be surrounded by over 400 representatives from  50 countries. While at the summit and after many months of laying the ground work, we will be signing an agreement during a ceremony as we partner with China Educational Media Group to produce and acquire travel programming for TV to be broadcast via satellite throughout China. You will be hearing more about this partnership in the press shortly.

Speaking of international travel, two weeks before lift off to South Korea, I realized I needed more room in my passport and with a heavy travel schedule for the next several months, there was no way around it, I needed help. And one word of wisdom, when you travel to China or other countries who require visas, be sure you have a few extra pages, even beyond what they will need in your passport. I have used expedited services before and found them to be costly and basically non-responsive to my personal needs. Knowing I had to have some assistance and soon, I found myself one more time searching for a company that could hand carry my passport to the State Department and have it updated and returned back to me before departure. I found RushMyPassport.com and from the online look and feel, I thought they might be able to handle the job. The online experience dove-tailed directly into the customer service department where I was assigned a personal contact. He gave me his direct email and phone number and once the paperwork was completed, an overnight label was uploaded to my account. I printed it and away it went. They got it turned around and back to me within days!  I'd give these folks an A for an outstanding job. Well done and thank you RushmyPassport and Ken Altman who personally helped us. By the way, I still paid the regular price and didn't tell them I was in the media and in fact they don't even know I wrote about them this week!  We will now put these folks into our TIPS page at TravelTalkMEDIA.com.

We'll be in touch next from South Korea and I wish you all safe travels,

Sandy Dhuyvetter

The vision of the Africa Peace Caravan is to promote peace and freedom on the African continent, through an annual 4x4 travel across the African continent. Like an Olympic
Torch, the Africa Peace Caravan buses will travel across the Africa Continent, carrying
the Peace Flag.

Picture this: A caravan of 4x4 buses traveling across the African continent, each one
carrying a peace flag and focused on the goal of promoting peace and freedom on the continent. Coordinated by Ali Liaquat, the vision of the Caravan is to foster international exchanges, while discovering and promoting the countries involved. The concept of the bus caravan will be to travel from the country that would have just hosted the ATA meeting, to the county where it would next be held, finishing at the host country just before the Congress begins. Argentina’s capital city of Buenos Aires exudes a unique combo of hip, modern and historical. While the history and culture of the Argentinean people is well preserved here, as evident by the many museums and monuments throughout the city, a look at tomorrow has sprung up in the form of modern high-rises and new five-star hotels that dot the cityscape. . .
