Welcome to this week's TravelTalkMEDIA Newsletter

San Francisco, Las Vegas, Hollywood, San Juan Capistrano and San Diego have been our stomping grounds these past ten days.

We celebrated Thanksgiving in San Francisco with our friends from the American Indian Councils. During this multi-cultural event, we were able to talk to  people who are passionate about their native lands. We also met artist, Thom Ross who created
120 larger than life   Indians on horseback and placed them on Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The art display was  inspired by the 1902 Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Show, photographed at the Cliff House in San Francisco.

We took a day this week to fly Southwest Airlines to Las Vegas to attend the Luxury Travel Show.

Sandy arrives in San Juan Capistrano,
California this week  by Amtrak

During the Luxury Travel Show, we caught up with Art Jimenez, long time friend and colleague from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Art  joins us on TravelTalkRADIO this week to talk about trends for this years luxury traveler.

During our stay at the Belamar Hotel in Manhattan Beach, near LAX earlier this month, Patrick and I attended the PhoCusWright Travel Event in Hollywood.. During the TravelTalkRADIO broadcast this week, we will introduce you to the winner of their prestigious Travel Innovators Award for 2008.

We are honored this week to once again welcome back to our headquarters in San Diego our partner, Brian Li, President of China Educational Media Group, (CEMG). and  the Chairwoman of CEMG, Madam Yuanhua Xiao. Our partnership to create the new China Travel Channel called the Travel WORLD Channel, is very exciting and timely.

With our New York City Director John Johnson in town, we took some time out to "smell the roses" and use the Amtrak's Surfliner for our mode of transportation from San Diego to San Juan Capistrano to meet with our LA based film crew, Pub 1917. This talented team will be working with us on our new TV series, The First Ladies Tour and Touring with Leading Ladies of the World that is launching in 2009.

The train ride was magnificent as we viewed the Pacific coastline filled with surfers under blue sunny skies.

Safe travels and until next week,
Sandy Dhuyvetter
