"Thank you Sandy and Travel Talk Radio for letting me enjoy a great experience at sea, in Ensenada and again on your Sunday morning Show. I especially enjoyed the run from the B Street pier to your studio. The interview went so easy due to your great personality and charm. You provide a great service to everyone that loves travel and has reserves about certain place to visit, with knowledge, fun and great conversation. Thank You."

Welcome to this week's TravelTalkMEDIA Newsletter.

I hope you will join me this week as I welcome a cornucopia of guests from all over the world. We will be talking to the experts in Egypt, Jordan, Hawaii, Mexico, Beijing and Southern California. With an emphasis on Bringing the World Together, we will celebrate Egypt and talk about the many upcoming groups coming to Egypt including the American Tourism Society.

Mr. Sayed Khalifa from the Egyptian Tourism Authority and Sandy Dhuyvetter visiting during the Africa Travel Association in Ghana in 2006.

Patrick and I have supported the American Tourism Society (ATS) for many years because we loved their mission of Bringing the World Together. For the past 18 years, this group has almost single handedly brought visibility to regions like Russia, Middle East, Eastern Europe and now North Africa. We join them each year as they invite travel leaders from the United States and abroad to form educational and marketing relationships with the emerging countries.

This October, the Egyptian Travel Authority (ETA) will share the Egyptian travel experience with American tour operators and agents during this ATS event. Mr. Sayed Khalifa, the NY based director of ETA, will join me this week and talk about why American travel to Egypt is at an all time high and why it's still important to educate the traveler about the reality of touring the Middle East. If you have been to Egypt, you already know, as we do, that Egypt is an extraordinary destination. Join us and learn more about Egypt and Bringing the World Together with the American Tourism Society.

I also have Mona Naffa on the show this week. Mona's company, STI Middle East, offers meeting planning and travel services for conventions, business conferences and expos in Jordan and has recently been named the official tour operator for EXPEDIA.com. This is an outstanding accomplishment as Expedia does rigorous vetting before offering products and services to its customers. This alone tells you the caliber of product Mona is offering. If you are considering Jordan in your travels, be sure to spend a few minutes with Mona and I this week.

We'll also slip over to Mexico to say hello to our dear friend, Tillie Foster in Ensenada, Baja. Tillie lives in this quaint seaside town about an hour below the Tijuana Border. She is an single American woman who has lived in Mexico for 35 years. I hope you will join me to hear her marvelous story and how you can experience Old Mexico at the San Nicolas Hotel right near the harbor in Ensenada.

CHINA!! Ah yes, China!  We are so pleased to bring you more information about this beautiful sleeping giant who has awakened and is stretching out to the world! Roy Graff will talk about his work in China and how the Chinese public is reacting to travel opportunities abroad and at home.

Our good friend from L.A., Rob Kelly, will stop by the studio to  talk about the past struggles of the monorail system. We'll discuss why monorails have never taken off as a prominent public transport system in the USA and why it's still not too late in some area like Los Angeles.  Rob is the producer and director of the one hour long documentary called High Tech Monorails.

Please join the team as we provide you with the most dynamic, programming of its kind. Thanks to a great team and a loyal audience. We are happy to begin our 8th year of broadcasting throughout the world. Safe travels,

Sandy Dhuyvetter
