Welcome to this week's TravelTalkMEDIA Newsletter
Our 100th Newsletter!

I love statistics and I love celebrations, so when we announced that this is our 100th TravelTalkMEDIA newsletter, and the start to our 7th season, I thought perfect! We've got another reason to look back on great programming and remember all of the thousands of guests who shared their expertise with our audiences in over 130 countries.

Sandy signing her name with wishes at the Freedom Tower at Ground Zero in June of this year.

In August 2001, we began broadcasting to the world the good news of travel and now, seven years later, connecting you to the experts is still our mantra and we continue to bring you the experts in every field of travel and tourism.

This week, we celebrate around the world with some of the best tour and travel journalists in the industry. David Browne, European editor from eTurboNews, is a regular contributor and Imtiaz Muqbil is a first time guest this week. Imtiaz has been focusing on India and tourism for over 25 years and offers a weekly newsletter. Author M. H. Graham will also join our program to discuss  her new book, Ahora Hablo - Travel Edition.

Jeannette Kravtiz will be joining for a second visit on our broadcast. Our first conversation with her was during our visit to Morocco in April of 2005. We covered the Sister City journey between teens from Chicago and Casa Blanca. Jeannette's company sponsored some of the students travel expenses and she accompanied the group to show her support. We had the good fortune to get to know her during this 10 day trip. I think you will enjoy visiting with Jeannette. She is passionate about peace and she believes t
he Peace Journey guides global friendships among children of the world through technology and education. I can promise you will feel her enthusiasm during our conversation.

Our special guest this week is Mr. Sujit Chowdhury, the Secretary General of the World Tourism Marketing Summit (WTMS) being held in Beijing, China this year in late October. The 2nd WTMS will bring together the world’s leaders within the tourism marketing industry.

Sujit Chowdhury, Sandy Dhuyvetter
and Karmenu Villa, Chairman of
Corinthia Hotels Int'l.

I am very excited to be involved with our 3rd conference with Sujit and I am sure to be impressed as always when he brings in top dignitaries and ministries from over 50 countries. We will be sharing with our audiences what this summit is about, why it is in China and who should be attending.

Please join us in a few hours as we broadcast LIVE radio on TravelTalkRADIO brought to you online and by satellite on TalkStar Radio. If you miss the live show no worries! Archives are available directly after the show.

Warm regards and safe travels,

Sandy Dhuyvetter
