Welcome to this week's TravelTalkMEDIA Newsletter

We have a full lineup this week with guests representing Adventure travel to tourism for peace. We will visit with experts who will share with us the trends and the news of travel. I think you will find David Browne's report on the new Terminal 5 at Heathrow to be an eye opener and Louie D'Amore will announce his next conference for International Institute for Peace for Tourism in Holland at the newly named Stenden University (formally CHN University) out of Leeuwarden, Holland. Mr. Louie D'Amore, will talk the social affects of tourism in cultures around the world.

National Geographic Adventure magazine Director Bryan Kinkade will share with us the latest in Adventure travel and he will talk about the new award given to the magazine by it's peers for quality of content and delivery.

Thomas Steinmetz will join us to talk about eTurboNews and the stories published this week in travel. From San Diego, we look at tourism and the economic effect with Mayor Jerry Sanders.

This next week we will be in New Orleans celebrating the French Quarter Festival April 11-13, 2008. Please join us personally or on the air as we bring you the spirit of New Orleans through its people and music.

In the meantime, keep your seatbelts on and keep it under 90.
Talk to you during our live broadcast!

Safe Travels,

Sandy Dhuyvetter

Last week Keith Reinhard joined TravelTalkRADIO to talk about Business for Diplomatic Action (BDA). BDA is an organization devoted to image building and creating bridges of communication and understanding between countries and cultures.

BDA’s five part strategy is to sensitize Americans to the rising problem of anti-Americanism, work to change negative perceptions of Americans as a people, amplify those qualities about America that are still admired and build new bridges with key foreign constituents through business-led initiatives.

Besides being the founder of the organization, Keith is also the recipient of the Advertising Hall of Fame award given out this past month.

TravelTalkMEDIA will be doing two back to back live programs in Tanzania in May to bring you the experts in African travel. If you want to experience Africa for the first time, Tanzania is a perfect choice.

TravelTalkMEDIA will be in Kuala Lumpur for the Airline Distribution Conference April 22 - 24, 2008
